The Case of the Gilded Cage
When Vanessa Adler is found dead in her locked dressing room, right before her opening night performance, DI Smith has his work cut out to discover how she was murdered, how the murderer got away, or indeed why the victim’s songbird also lies dead in her golden cage.
For your murder mystery event, you will receive a scene-setting background story to share with your guests before the event day. On the day the players work in teams to solve the ‘who, why and how’ while the detective and our second actor, playing the victim’s Understudy slowly release suspect profiles and crime scene photographs throughout the experience.
After each team have given their final verdict your event actors will reveal how it was done and award points for solving the murder and puzzling out the motive and method.

At last, he was getting closer BUT having been seen leaving The Palace Theatre on Broadway Sunday night a body has been found believed to be his.
Can you step into his shoes and solve the case before the killer strikes again? This murder mystery is hosted by Ms Blousey Lichenstein, the PI’s Assistant, and can also feature an array of supects that your team can interview during this theatrical teambuilding experience.

This Drag Murder Mystery is staged on set of popular light entertainment show “Heart to Heart” a fan favourite. Week after week millions tune in to enjoy the bouncy brilliant repartee between handsome and hilarious Manny Mannerson and gregarious and gorgeous Sheila Shaver. These co-hosts have been singing, dancing and winning together for over 15 years, but as they wrap up rehearsing the big numbers, a piercing shriek can be heard ringing out across the sound stage.
Hot new model Barry Smith has been laid asunder, no longer to flex his pecs or wear a see though trench coat to rave reviews. Found, slumped over the exclusively red skittles in his dressing room, it is clear that Barry has met with foul play, but the mystery remains. 1890’s – What’s all this locomotion?!
The year is 1892, in a copper-coloured steampunk imagining of Victorian England and a great dispute is afoot. Frederick Bremer has created the first four wheeled, petrol driven car in Walthamstow and is currently the darling of high society. People are desperate to get behind the wheel to be the first for a spin and many women are trying to catch his eye. However, not everyone is so enamoured with his invention, as it threatens the future of trains and the businesses that surround it. Many inventors are deeply jealous of Frederick’s successes and some citizens are horrified and think it is an unnatural abomination, wishing to destroy it as the Luddites before them.
One evening, a gala of industry is held in his honour by the super-rich fan of engineering, Montgomery Mortimer-Smythe. The party is a veritable who’s who in 1890’s London and you’re on the guest list. The event is a sumptuous affair and attended by anyone who’s anyone. However, before the first bottle of wine has been drunk dry, disaster strikes, as it is discovered that Bremer has been butchered in a parlour room. You must work tirelessly to discern who did it…before they strike again at the heart of progress and maybe at you!
