Radio Activation - Halloween Competition

From our homegrown pool of actors, we cast the project, designed the costumes and SFX make-up. We produced a motley crew of 4 frightful characters to chill even the hardiest of souls to the bone. The classic killer clown, the dastardly horned devil, the brusque pallid butler, and the murmuring undead shuffling zombie. We cast actors who we knew would be able to fully commit to the role and really bring the fear factor while being sensitive to where the line was and switch character or back off as required to keep the experience exciting but not too frightening.

Working with our costume and prosthetics team, we were able to create striking looks with a high production value that allowed the competitors to fully immerse themselves and create vibrant shots for social media. It was imperative for us to select a make-up artist who had a great background in special effects make up to really lean into the gruesome aspect of some of our characters visages, this was especially challenging as it was for a breakfast show. Therefore, we had to faithfully recreate all make-up a second time, after evening rehearsals, in the early hours of the following morning. Throughout the process of costume design, make up design and rehearsals the team bonded beautifully making light work of the long days and our phenomenal team worked hard to support each other throughout this experiential activation project.
