The Brief – Corporate Family Fun Day
Our client approached us with an exciting vision: to create a magical, theatre-style Family Fun Day that would leave a lasting impression on their team and their loved ones. With a whimsical Teddy Bear’s Picnic theme, this event would be their first fully immersive family celebration an opportunity to bring colleagues together in a joyful, relaxed setting where children could take centre stage.
Designed as a “bring your kids to work” experience with a twist, the event was a heartfelt gesture to recognize the importance of work-life balance and family time. Employees were invited to step away from their desks and into a beautifully curated day of entertainment, bonding, and shared memories.
The guest list featured parents accompanied by their babies and preschool-aged children, which posed a unique creative challenge: to design an engaging entertainment programme tailored specifically for this younger audience. From sensory play zones and gentle live performances to interactive storytelling and teddy bear tea parties, every element was carefully crafted to delight both little ones and their grown-ups.
The result? A charming, playful atmosphere where laughter echoed, imaginations soared, and families created cherished moments together all while strengthening the connection between home and workplace.
What We did
Welcome to Teddy Bear Town a whimsical world where imagination meets nostalgia, brought to life with creativity, charm, and a sprinkle of magic.
Set within a beautifully crafted miniature village, Teddy Bear Town was designed to enchant guests of all ages. Nestled among teddy-sized houses and rolling meadows of soft, faux grass, families found themselves immersed in a storybook setting straight from a child’s dream. The scene was painted in a delicate sherbet colour palette think pastel pinks, buttery yellows, and soft sky blues creating a dreamy, sunlit atmosphere that felt as sweet as it looked.
Tactile details invited young guests to explore with all their senses: hand-crafted blossom trees rustled gently in the breeze, oversized sunflowers swayed playfully, and picnic blankets dotted the meadow, ready for cuddles and snacks. Every corner of Teddy Bear Town offered a new discovery, designed to spark wonder, and invite play.
What We Did
Bringing this magical world to life were our beloved hosts, Daisy Dolly, and Tom Teddy a lovable duo who led the way with energy and heart. Through a series of interactive games, sing-along shows, and make-believe adventures, they kept little ones giggling and engaged from start to finish. Their warm, theatrical style brought a sense of joy and intimacy to the day, making every guest feel part of the story.
A highlight of the day was the heartwarming teddy bear craft activity, where children (with a little help from their parents) lovingly created their very own teddy companions. Each bear was given a name, a birth certificate, and a shimmering wishing star tucked inside turning a simple craft into a truly meaningful keepsake.
As the event ended, families embarked on a magical storybook-style bear hunt, following clues and laughter to find a life-sized teddy playing peekaboo among the trees and houses. And before heading home, guests stopped at a picture-perfect photo station featuring oversized teddy toys and vintage picnic props a charming way to capture memories from their unforgettable day in Teddy Bear Town.
Highlights
The client was delighted with the production for this event. The design team brought the theme to life with a unique styling that really met the brief of surprising the guests with something really special.
Through the carefully curated programme of entertainment, we managed to create a shared theatrical early years’ experience.
The surprise appearance of a mascot bear was a cute touch and created a super photo opp for everyone to enjoy.
The event space transformed beautifully into a hidden storybook world that was both clean and sleek to match our clients brand but also warm and inviting for our little VIP’s.
Our build a bear activity was a huge success with families getting stuck into the stuffing and naming of their bears. Completing the craft together created an intimate activity with a narrative that tied it to the overall Teddy Town story arc.
