Celebrate and Honour Pride Month
LGBTQIA+ Pride Month, is celebrated annually, and it honours the 1969 Stonewall protests that were undertaken to achieve equal justice and equal opportunities. It had ripples across the globe and those echoes were heard internationally. It effected the rights and day to day of those in the community and beyond, however there are still many individuals in countries without this progression in rights. That is why it is more important than ever, that we uphold those aims and celebrate to make sure that we maintain our rights and fight for those far and wide.
So how can you do that within your organisation, community, and everyday life? See below Boo Productions 5 fabulous top tips on how to “Celebrate and Honour Pride”.
1.) “Life is a cabaret old chum”
You can have your very own Pride Event with some of our award-winning drag performers and cabaret artists, who can help your celebration soar! 2.) “Be The Change you wish to see in the world”
We often find that teammates want to celebrate their colleagues from all backgrounds, but often they are mindful of offending folks and getting it wrong. So, we at Boo Productions, have created a dedicated series of equity and inclusivity workshops, that help foster better conversations within your team and touch upon difficult subjects. Our series of workshops range from an engaging look at evolving terminology, perfecting pronouns and bystander training all the way through to a Dragony hour, where our drag facilitators will answer a whole range of anonymous questions from within the team to clarify any areas they feel less confident in.

We all took to the digital realm in the year 2020, more than ever before we were existing in digital spaces for work, life and play. Although this move was pre-empted by less than glittering circumstances, it has had some truly wonderful outcomes and lasting benefits. It has meant that global companies can traverse the globe and bond with teammates, without polluting the environment and taking time out to do so. It has also ensured that greater accessibility in the workplace has become more commonplace, as those who need to work remotely due to their access needs can be fully folded into the wider team.
